Overview

Position Overview:

The Data/Reporting Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the Special Investigations Unit (SIU) and ensuring regulatory adherence across Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) operations. This individual will manage, analyze, and report on large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and potential discrepancies related to Fraud, Waste, and Abuse (FWA). The analyst will maintain recurring government and client reporting, ensuring that all data submitted to CMS, State Medicaid agencies, and health plan partners is highly accurate and compliant.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • SIU Program Support: Analyze trip logs, billing records, and driver credentialing data to identify suspicious patterns, anomalies, or compliance breaches that require SIU investigation.
  • Regulatory & Client Reporting: Develop, generate, and maintain recurring and ad-hoc reports required by CMS, State Medicaid programs, and managed care organization (MCO) clients.
  • Data Integrity & Quality Assurance: Perform regular data validation checks to ensure the accuracy and consistency of operational and financial data across internal systems.
  • Trend Analysis: Proactively identify operational trends, cost drivers, or service discrepancies, transforming raw data into actionable insights for the compliance and operations teams.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with operations, network credentialing, and IT teams to resolve data discrepancies and improve data collection processes.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Core Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and demonstrated ability to manage large, complex datasets.
  • Desirable Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with SQL and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, QuickSight) is highly preferred.
  • Analytical Aptitude: Exceptional attention to detail with strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Communication: Strong written communication skills with the ability to distill complex data findings into clear, concise executive summaries.
  • Industry Experience (Plus): Previous experience in healthcare, Medicare/Medicaid reporting, NEMT, or corporate compliance/audit functions.
