About the Role

Dogtopia is the leading dog daycare provider with more than 170 locations operating in 35 states in the USA and Canada. The Dogtopia brand has wellness at its core and our commitment to our customers and their pets is spreading across the nation with over 250 stores in the pipeline. We are proud of the high-quality daycare services we provide and are excited about the growth and potential of Dogtopia. Dogtopia is searching for a key role for our customers and company – an Inside Sales Agent.  This role will be responsible for growing the # of dogs in daycare through engaging with dog owners to gain their commitment to give their dog the “Most exciting day ever” and enroll in our services.  This inside sales agent will work leads of prospective pet parents as well as reengage existing customers through engaging phone conversations in both an inbound and outbound environment.  We are looking for dog lovers, and candidates who will enjoy working in the dog business! Bring your pet to work - have them join you while you work from home. We need agents who share the level of love and care for their pets as our Dogtopia parents do.

The role of the Dogtopia agent is to connect with the pet parent who has indicated interest and schedule them for a tour of the facility. This will include inbound calls and outbound outreach to previous visitors to re-engage them in our pet family and help us grow. The ideal agent will share the desire to provide the highest level of care for their pets and understands the need for superior service to our pet parents and dogs alike.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Make outbound and receive inbound calls to prospective pet parents received through a variety of channels with the intention of enrolling them in our services.
• Outreach through phone, email, and chat to pet parents who have visited us previously and re-engage to bring them to drive frequency and retention.
• Deliver superior level of service and care with the pet parents, build rapport and relationship with each pet parent.
• Clearly communicate the value of Dogtopia, our pricing and our competitive advantage, as well as demonstrate confident objection handling.
• Effectively manage leads with a goal of driving revenue through sales conversion.

Skills & Experience Needed:

• At least 6 months to 1 year of customer service experience in a sales capacity
• Ability to build rapport with prospects and customers through active listening to drive sales metrics
• High level of patience, empathy and care for customers and their pets
• Prior inbound/outbound call center experience required
• Excellent customer service & phone skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Self-motivated - Ability to work independently
• Must love dogs

Education:

• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
